  • move from a logic of ability to change to a logic of continuous learning to deal with turbulence and ambiguity

The major challenge for both organisations and their employees is to anticipate obsolescence and skills mismatches by implementing a culture of continuous learning to adjust them as they occur. This is in line with the meta-competence of the 21st century set of key competencies: "learning throughout life".

It is now necessary to act in a systemic way on the capacity for simultaneous learning at individual and collective level. In order to set in motion a dynamic of continuous learning, it is necessary to transform the state of mind in depth by using multi-level coaching (leaders, managers, teams, etc.), bearing in mind that traditional training methods are not very effective for "learning to learn". To describe this state of mind, Anglo-Saxons speak of "learnability": the desire and ability to develop rapidly and to adapt one's skills.
